Re-Cap: Street Musician Public Forum

A weekday afternoon when people are getting off work isn’t the best time to hold an event geared at buskers. Unless of course you don’t want buskers to attend. About a dozen showed with a handful of supporters in a room full of city employees, police officers and business owners or representatives.

Bottom line. Nothing was determined. This proves to be the first of many, many forums to come. We were able to break into small groups and discuss civilly among a varied group our opinions and what we liked and disliked about the current Street Musician Partnership Agreement. will keep you informed of the next public forum and any information related to the SMPA that might emerge in the coming months.

Just a dozen people? There were more like 40-50 people there when it started at 4:00PM.

Oh nevermind, I strike that comment. I was reading it as a dozen people showed up total, but you meant a dozen musicians. So sorry.
